Working as a Quantative Risk Management Senior Consulant/Manager

- Together with the client, identify, assess and mitigate their risks
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and frameworks tailored to the insurance sector
- Conduct advanced risk modeling, simulations, scenario analysis, and stochastic modeling to evaluate potential risk exposures
- Utilize statistical techniques, data analytics, and probability models to support risk assessments and decision-making
- Perform quantitative and qualitative risk analysis to assess the impact of different risk factors on the business
- Develop projections and forecasts to anticipate emerging risks and market trends
- Advise senior management and business units on risk exposure and mitigation techniques
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal governance frameworks
- Conduct risk assessments and scenario analyses to enhance business resilience
- Monitor and evaluate risk controls, providing recommendations for continuous improvement
- You have 3+ years of experience in quantitative risk management, consulting, or the insurance sector
- Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics or Mathematics is a plus
- Strong expertise in risk quantification, stochastic modeling, Monte Carlo simulations, stress testing, and scenario analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software and risk management tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS, VBA, MATLAB, or similar)
- Experience with capital adequacy assessments, solvency calculations, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., Solvency II)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex risk data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset
- A team player who can work autonomously
- Good knowledge of English and Dutch/French
